Principal’s message

Welcome to Pringle Creek Public School

Pringle Creek Public School was built in 1987 and is located in Whitby on Ribblesdale Drive.

The school property backs onto Pringle Creek to the west and Pringle Creek Park to the north. The current student population at Pringle Creek is approximately 600 students.

Our student population includes a mix of walking students living directly in the school area as well as bussed students. The student population is ethnically and culturally diverse.

The goal of the school is to inspire students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners and to achieve their maximum potential by providing a safe, stimulating and positive environment. The staff at Pringle Creek strive to provide a wealth of academic programs, enrichment activities and extra-curricular opportunities for students in the areas of sports, the arts, community service and leadership. Activities include bands, choirs, sports teams, book club, craft club, Lego club, Student Leadership, and performing arts concerts.

Pringle Creek is fortunate to have a very active School Community Council that supports our staff and students to achieve our common goal of improving student learning. Parents organize events for the school, volunteer in classrooms, raise funds for extra resources and assist at many functions where their support is invaluable.

We welcome you to Pringle Creek and are sure that if you decide to attend, you will face new challenges, meet new friends and work with outstanding educators.

We are proud of our school and are dedicated to continuing Pringle's "tradition of excellence".
